The majority of cycle hire companies in and around the Sierra de Grazalema have mountain bikes and/or hybrids for hire and in the cost you would usually get your bike, obviously, a helmet, a pump, puncture repair kit and/or spare inner tube and a lock. Pannier or handlebar bags are usually available for Hybrid bikes. Generally the Hybrids and Mountian Bikes would have front suspension and V-brakes as standard.
As a word of warning there are a few companies that do not maintain the bikes as I, for one, would expect them too. Things to check when you collect a bike are...

1) The brakes. Both front and rear brakes should work correctly. To test the front brake, pull the brake on and push the bike forward, the bike should not move, push hard enough and the rear wheel will leave the ground, repeat this for the rear brake pulling the bike backwards and again with enough force the front wheel will pop up in the air.

2) The spokes. Check that the spokes are not loose by squeezing two spokes from the same side of the wheel together, the spokes should feel firm.

3) Wheels and tyres. The front and back wheel should run freely when spun and not rub against the brake blocks or the frame. If the bike has quick release then these should be tightened firmly enough so that you can not pull the lever out with one finger thus releasing the wheel. Also check that the tyres are not badly worn and are inflated correctly.
Hiring costs vary between 20 & 40 Euros per day or around 100 Euros for the week per bike.
For mountain bikers I would recommed a guide as although there is the right to roam is Spain more and more land is being fenced off by the owners and of course a local guide would have knowledge of all the best routes and singletracks in their area.
For Family and Leisure riding more often than not route cards and maps are provided.
Bike Hire and guided day rides are available from the Andalucian Cycling Experience.
At present it is not possible to hire out road bikes in the Sierra de Grazalema or come to think of it the whole of Andalucia, as far as I know.
