Tucked away in a valley in the sierras de Cádiz, near to Olvera, one of the famous pueblos blancos [white villages] is the farmhouse and workshops of 'Artesanía del Prado' (which loosely translated means "Art from the Meadows")
Here you will find Elizabeth Aylmer and Jenny Stock, who left the UK several years ago to settle in Andalucía, producing very high quality hand thrown tableware pottery plus a variety of other pottery items such as our very popular oil lamps and a variety of vases, aromatherapy burners etc. From time to time one off pieces in both stoneware and porcelain are produced and these are displayed in the Gallery.
There is also a selection of individually crafted and decorated fused glass items of jewellery and also lively colourful fused and slumped glass items consisting of a variety of glass dishes and coasters as well as beautiful decorative pieces.
